Air traffic in Iran has returned to normal following an Israeli military strike early Saturday, according to Jafar Yazerlu, spokesperson for the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization. Flights had been suspended earlier in the day but resumed at 9 a.m. local time (05:30 GMT).

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted the strikes in response to previous attacks on Israel, focusing on military targets in Iran without affecting nuclear or oil facilities, as reported by CBS News. Reports indicate that several military bases in the west and southwest of Tehran were targeted, but sources from the Tasnim news agency stated that military centers belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) remained undamaged.

Additionally, a series of explosions were reported near the Russian Embassy in central Tehran around 4:25 a.m. Moscow time (01:25 GMT).
